Registered Manager & Director

As the Registered Manager at The Lawns, I oversee the day‑to‑day running of the home and work closely with clients, families, and staff to ensure everyone feels supported and valued. My nursing journey began when I graduated from King’s College London in 1993, followed by specialist training in Orthopaedic Nursing and later an Accredited Manager qualification to deepen my leadership skills.

With more than three decades of experience — particularly in epilepsy, brain injuries and PEG care — I am committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred support. I am also proud to have guided The Lawns in achieving Platinum status through the Gold Standards Framework accreditation, a testament to the exceptional quality of our end-of-life care.

My aim is always to create a warm, relaxed environment where people feel at home. Outside of work, I love spending time walking my dogs.

John Williams

Head Chef

I served in the Submarine Service from 1980 to 1998, where I was the Chef—an experience that taught me how to create great food in even the most challenging conditions. I’ve been the Chef at The Lawns since 2004, preparing a wide variety of healthy, well‑balanced meals that our clients genuinely enjoy. I’m passionate about good food and making sure everyone is well looked after. In fact, I’m often told I’m a bit of a feeder… and I’m happy to admit it.

Mary Grace Burgos

Registered Nurse

I’m originally from Baguio City in the Philippines, and proud to have been part of The Lawns team for almost ten years. I completed my Bachelor of Nursing in 1993 and moved to the UK in 2003, grateful every day for the opportunity to care for others.

As the only girl among six brothers, I learned resilience early – and I bring that same spirit to my work. Nursing is a journey filled with love, compassion and challenge, and it’s a privilege to support our residents with dedication and heart. Outside of work, I love adventure whenever the chance arises.

Connie Pointon

Administrator

I’ve been part of The Lawns for 15 years. For my first 11 years I worked with the Care Team and in The Day Centre, supporting clients and helping create enjoyable “days out” filled with games, crafts and quizzes.

For the past four years I’ve been based in the office, organising staff training and assisting with compliance and clerical work — a different role, but one that keeps me closely connected to the running of the home.

Outside of work, I love arts and crafts and run my own stall at local craft fairs a couple of times each month.

Tricia Burgos

Registered Nurse

I’m Tricia, originally from the Philippines, and I obtained my OSCE qualification three years ago. Since then, I’ve been a dedicated staff nurse at The Lawns, providing compassionate care and supporting our residents with kindness and respect. I have a particular passion for caring for older people and children, and I’m fulfilled by helping to improve their comfort and quality of life.

Outside of work, I love travelling and discovering new places. I’m a keen foodie too, always excited to try new cuisines and local flavours. Caring for others, embracing new experiences, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally are at the heart of who I am.

Ayo Fadeyi

Senior Care Assistant

I was born in Nigeria and moved to the UK in September 2022, joining The Lawns a few months later in February 2023. I have three children, and I live here in the UK with my husband and our youngest.

Caring for people comes naturally to me, and I value the relationships and friendships that grow through this work. Being part of The Lawns gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day.

To me, The Lawns is a place where you can love and be loved, irrespective of who you are.

Lucy Beacham

Household Supervisor

I have worked at The Lawns since 2019 and have been the Household Supervisor since 2021. I truly enjoy my role and the way everyone works together as a supportive, committed team. I love interacting with our clients and meeting new people each day.

I’m proud of my team — we are passionate about maintaining a clean, homely, and tidy environment that helps make The Lawns a comfortable and welcoming place to live.

Csilla Sereny

Registered Nurse

I trained as a nurse in Romania and have lived in the UK for 15 years, working in nursing for more than 13 of those. My family, especially my husband and son, are my greatest supporters. My career has always been rooted in nursing homes, where I’ve developed strong continuity of care and found deep personal fulfilment in supporting people who need it most. Since 2020 at The Lawns, I’ve gained extensive experience working with clients who have specialised health needs, including physical disabilities, learning disabilities and neurological conditions. Promoting independence, meeting individual needs and ensuring safety are always my priorities.

I’m proud to be part of The Lawns family and truly enjoy working as part of a supportive, dedicated team. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, travelling, gardening and walking

Hayley Wyatt

Administrator

I’ve been part of The Lawns team since 2001, starting my career as a Care Assistant before progressing into my current role as Administrator. Alongside my administrative responsibilities, I still enjoy spending time with our residents and supporting them on outings, whether that’s a trip for lunch, a shopping excursion, or a visit to the local pub.

Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my son, Euan, and our dog, Ronnie. We enjoy exploring new places together in our camper van and making the most of the great outdoors.

Claire McNeill

Senior Carer – NVQ Lvl 3

I have worked at The Lawns for the past nine years, and I find my role incredibly rewarding. I’m passionate about supporting those who are less able and helping to make each client’s life as happy and enjoyable as possible. 

A big part of my work involves organising a wide variety of entertainment and activities. I make sure everything is varied, engaging, and inclusive, so there is always something for everyone to enjoy. 

Tracey Keddie

Senior Carer – NVQ Lvl 2

I have worked at The Lawns for 26 years, and I take great pride in making a positive difference to the lives of our residents. Ensuring they feel happy, well cared for, and safe is at the centre of everything I do.

I enjoy supporting and encouraging new members of staff, helping them settle in and grow in confidence. I work closely with both new colleagues and our long‑established team to maintain the high standards and welcoming atmosphere that make The Lawns such a special place.

Amy Baker

Carer / Administrator

I’m a Care Assistant at The Lawns with 14 years’ experience supporting people across a range of care settings. Since moving from Wales in early 2026, I’ve enjoyed becoming part of the team and getting to know the individuals I support.

I hold a Level 5 QCF in Leadership and Management, which has strengthened my understanding of high‑quality care and how to support others effectively. I’m passionate about making a positive difference – whether that’s helping with day‑to‑day tasks, sharing a conversation, or simply being there when someone needs reassurance.

Alongside my care role, I also work part‑time in administration, helping to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. I’m friendly, caring, and committed to providing the best support I can every day.

I joined The Lawns in 2023 and have since developed my skills as a Care Assistant. I’m passionate about supporting people to live their best lives, and I take pride in providing care that is kind, respectful and centred around each person’s individual needs and choices.

Building relationships is an important part of my role, and I enjoy getting to know the people I support and understanding what matters most to them. You’ll often see me out in Quedgeley with one of our clients who loves a daily walk — these moments of connection are a highlight of my day and a reminder of why I love this work.

I’m committed to continuing my development and contributing positively to the team, ensuring that every person at The Lawns feels valued, supported and encouraged to live well.

Harley Tinsley

Registered Nurse

I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2025 through the University of Gloucestershire, specialising in Learning Disability Nursing. My training has given me a strong foundation in supporting people with complex health needs, and I am committed to delivering safe, effective and person‑centred care that promotes each individual’s wellbeing and quality of life.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancée and our three children. I’m also happiest outdoors, especially when exploring the countryside on long walks.
